Conference Overview

The seventh edition of Digital Transactions in Asia brings together researchers exploring the rapid evolution of digital financial platforms across the Asian region. Hosted at the historic University of Peradeniya in Sri Lanka's Central Province, DTA VII addresses embedded finance, platform economies, digital public infrastructures, and the social implications of automated decision-making systems across diverse Asian contexts.

Research Themes

We invite abstracts across 18 research themes spanning fintech, platform economies, digital governance, financial inclusion, and resilience — open to researchers in humanities, social sciences, business, economics, IT, and law.

Present Your Research!

We welcome researchers from the humanities, social sciences, business, economics, information technology, and law to submit abstracts exploring digital transactions across Asia. We also encourage professional contributions from industry and non-governmental organisations.
